Dollar-Limit Increase to the Term Contract for Glock Handguns for the Police Department (Citywide)
In December 2019, Training Academy contingency funds were approved. This approval included the purchase of handguns and related accessories. The Training Division has requested the purchase of pistols and related accessories from the current contract with Proforce.
The Police Department and Purchasing recommend increasing the dollar-limit with Proforce Marketing, Inc., dba, Proforce Law Enforcement, by $60,000 for Year 4, from $105,000 to $165,000, and by $150,700 for Year 5, from $80,000 to $230,700, based on estimated requirements.
